This four-day workshop is a fast track to executing your unique jewelry designs with more confidence and skills under your belt! You'll learn the basics of metalsmithing/silversmithing, from soldering to stone setting, and have the opportunity to learn how to make rings, bracelets, pendants, earrings, and more.

Our highly experienced instructor will teach you everything you need to know, from safety procedures to more advanced techniques. You'll work with high-quality sterling silver, stones, materials, and tools, and you'll have plenty of time to experiment and create your own designs.

By the end of the workshop, you will have created many beautiful pieces that you'll be proud to wear, sell, or give as gifts!

Skills:

• Learn how to design and create your own jewelry pieces.
• Learn the basics of metalsmithing, including sawing, filing, soldering, stone setting, and polishing.
• Learn the safety procedures for working with metal and a torch.
• Create rings, bracelets, pendants, earrings, and more!
• Gain experience with a variety of hand tools and techniques.
• Add trim, balls, layers, and other embellishments.
• Professionally finishing projects and safety review.
  
• Gain the confidence to continue metalsmithing on your own.

Prerequisites:

• No prior experience is necessary!

Class kit cost:

• The class kit cost depends on the silver and supplies used and includes all of the materials you will need for the projects, such as silver sheet, stones, solder. Paid at the end of class. Ranges from $20 to $100+. 
• Students may bring their own stones and sterling silver or purchase them for the workshop.
