$209.00

Think of it as the funnest play date ever — but for grown-up makers. We'll combine metalsmithing, enameling, the hydraulic press, and the rolling mill into one hands-on creative sprint. You’ll learn how to layer techniques from our core classes to design and complete a single amazing piece of jewelry that truly stands out. (Enameling, rolling mill, and hydraulic press can be optional)

What you'll make:

  • One amazing finished piece (pendant, bolo, pin, or statement earrings — we’ll help you design a piece that serves the techniques you want to explore) that blends metalsmithing, metal forming, texture from the rolling mill, shaping in the hydraulic press, and colorful enamel accents.

Who this class is for:

  • Makers who already have metalsmithing experience (enameling experience is also preferred, but not mandatory). This is an intensive, hands-on day meant to push your skills and creativity!

Techniques covered:

  • Metalsmithing design fundamentals and creative advanced moves
  • Enameling: color, fusing, and placement for lasting impact
  • Texture & form using the rolling mill and hydraulic press
  • Design choices that tie multiple techniques into one amazing, cohesive piece

What to expect

  • A supportive, playful studio vibe with focused instruction and plenty of bench time.
  • Guided practice and one-on-one coaching as you build your piece.
  • Materials guidance and finishing techniques so you leave with a polished work of art you’re proud of.

Prerequisites:

  • Skill level: Intermediate+ / returning students only

Class kit cost:

  • The class kit cost depends on the silver and supplies used and includes all of the materials you will need for the projects, such as silver sheet, stones, solder. Paid at the end of class. Ranges from $20 to $100+.
