Workshop Overview

Using a torch (kiln if you prefer), explore the exciting possibilities of line creation and imagery using graphite, mason stains, acrylic enamels, and crow quill pens.  Starting with a sifted opaque base, graphite drawings will be introduced, followed by various ways to use mason stains in the Limoges technique. Converting masons to overglazes (painting enamels) expands versatility. Firing options, building layers, surfaces, etc and how they impact the full integrity of the drawings and added color complete the curriculum.
