Half Day Metalsmithing: Next Level Skills

Add stunning details to your metalwork in this next-level class! Perfect for those with basic torch and soldering skills. Under the guidance of our instructor learn how to solder extra layers and more elements for a unique design. Use some new hand tools for metalworking techniques, and gain more experience to carry into future designs. By the end of class, you'll have created a beautifully decorated custom ring, pendant, or cuff with a bezel set stone or two that's sure to impress!

You'll learn:

• How to plan and execute a design with more elements
• Create and solder decorative granules or balls
• Make and apply twisted wire borders
• Learn how to stamp to elevate your jewelry game
• Master pick soldering for more control when you solder
• How to set stones in a bezel setting
• Patina and polish

Material cost is calculated at the end of the class ($20 - $100+ depending on project made).
