You've learned the fundamentals—now it's time to play, experiment, and expand your creative toolkit.

This isn't about overwhelming you with advanced techniques. This is about building on what you already know, adding new skills to your repertoire, and creating pieces that feel more you with the guidance and support you need to succeed.

Who This Is For:

You've taken the Full Day Metalsmithing class (or have equivalent experience), and you're ready for more creative freedom and new techniques—without feeling overwhelmed.

What Makes This Different from the Full Day Class:

While the Full Day class teaches essential foundations, the Next Level Metalsmithing Class is where you get to use those skills creatively.

You'll have more freedom to design your own pieces, learn new stone-setting techniques beyond bezels, master sawing and piercing for detailed designs, learn how to layer trim, and explore surface textures and layering that make your work uniquely yours.

We don't gatekeep. You'll get clear instructions on new techniques, troubleshooting support when you need it, and the creative space to experiment without pressure.

New Skills You'll Learn:

✦ Partial Bezels and Prong setting – Set stones with unique settings for a different look
✦ Sawing & piercing – Cut intricate designs and patterns into metal
✦ Advanced soldering – Multi-component pieces and cleaner joins
✦ Texture techniques – Hammering, stamping, and surface interest
✦ Design development – Bringing your ideas to life with confidence

You'll leave with: New jewelry pieces showcasing your expanded skillset, techniques you can use at home, and the confidence to keep pushing your creative boundaries.

Prerequisites:

• Completion of the Full Day Metalsmithing class OR basic metalsmithing experience (comfortable with soldering, basic fabrication, and hand tools)

Class Kit Cost:

• The class kit cost depends on the silver and supplies used and includes all materials you need. Paid at the end of class. Ranges from $40 to $100+ each piece.
• Students may bring their own stones and sterling silver or purchase them for the workshop.
