Plain steel ring mandrel, sizes 1 to 15.
Hardened tool steel with a gradual taper, 11 1/2 inches long. Plain means no groove, so it's the one for forming and sizing bands before a stone goes anywhere near them.
If your ring is already set, you want a grooved mandrel instead so the stone isn't taking the hammer blows.
